By creating an account, accessing HenBase, or using any HenBase service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the HenBase Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or use HenBase.

Your continued use of HenBase after an updated version of these terms becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2Eligibility and Account Registration

• Users must be legally capable of entering into these terms under applicable law.
• HenBase is intended for poultry farm owners, managers, workers, agricultural businesses, and other people involved in lawful farm operations.
• Users must provide accurate registration information and keep account information reasonably current.
• Users may not create accounts using false identities, unauthorized email addresses, or information belonging to another person.
• HenBase is not designed for children under 13.

3Use of HenBase

HenBase provides tools for:

• Farms and farm locations
• Poultry houses and pens
• Flocks and bird populations
• Egg production
• Feed management
• Mortality
• Health and vaccination
• Inventory
• Farm notes
• Tasks and reminders
• Sales
• Customers
• Vendors
• Expenses
• Workers
• Attendance
• Payroll
• Deductions
• Payments
• Reports and dashboards

HenBase provides organization, calculation, synchronization, and reporting tools based on information entered by users.

4Lawful and Acceptable Use

Users must not:

• Use HenBase for illegal activities
• Submit fraudulent or intentionally misleading records
• Harass, threaten, or abuse users or support staff
• Upload malware, harmful code, spam, or unauthorized automated requests
• Attempt unauthorized access to HenBase systems or accounts
• Interfere with app security, databases, hosting, or synchronization
• Copy, reverse engineer, exploit, or misuse protected HenBase software except where permitted by law
• Violate privacy, intellectual property, employment, animal welfare, food safety, or data-protection laws
• Use HenBase to conceal unlawful financial, payroll, sales, or employment activities

5Account Security

• Users must protect their passwords and authentication credentials
• Users must protect phones, tablets, and computers used to access HenBase
• Users must not share account access with unauthorized people
• Users should log out of shared devices
• Users are responsible for activity performed through their accounts
• Suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly
• HenBase may temporarily restrict an account to protect users or investigate security concerns

6User Records and Data Accuracy

HenBase calculations, reports, dashboards, balances, alerts, and summaries depend on information entered by users.

Users are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of:

• Farm information
• House and flock records
• Available bird counts
• Feed records
• Egg production
• Mortality
• Health and vaccination records
• Inventory
• Sales
• Customer balances
• Vendor balances
• Expenses
• Payroll
• Attendance
• Deductions
• Payments
• Tasks
• Notes
• Uploaded attachments

Incorrect, incomplete, duplicated, or outdated records may produce inaccurate results.

Users should regularly review and correct records.

7Farm Management Responsibility

Users remain responsible for:

• Poultry health and welfare
• Feeding decisions
• Housing conditions
• Vaccination and medication decisions
• Biosecurity
• Disease response
• Mortality management
• Food safety
• Worker management
• Business operations
• Financial decisions
• Legal and regulatory compliance

HenBase does not operate or manage a user's farm.

8No Professional Advice

HenBase does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, tax, accounting, investment, employment, payroll-compliance, or professional financial advice.

Information, reminders, summaries, and poultry best-practice content are provided for general recordkeeping, organizational, and educational purposes.

Users should consult:

• A qualified veterinarian for poultry health, mortality, disease, medication, and vaccination concerns
• A qualified accountant or tax professional for accounting, payroll, tax, and financial matters
• A qualified lawyer for legal, employment, regulatory, privacy, or business matters
• Appropriate government or agricultural authorities for mandatory compliance requirements

9Reports and Calculations

HenBase may calculate dashboards, bird populations, egg totals, feed usage, mortality rates, sales totals, customer balances, vendor balances, expense totals, payroll amounts, and financial reports.

Calculations rely on user-entered records and system configuration.

Users must verify important calculations before relying on them for:

• Payroll
• Taxes
• Employment decisions
• Financial statements
• Animal health decisions
• Regulatory filings
• Business transactions
• Loan or investment applications

HenBase does not guarantee that generated calculations are complete, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

10No Performance Guarantee

HenBase does not guarantee:

• Farm profit
• Increased egg production
• Improved feed conversion
• Lower mortality
• Flock health
• Disease prevention
• Increased sales
• Reduced expenses
• Business growth
• Regulatory approval
• Successful financing
• Continuous availability

Farm results depend on management, feed, water, housing, weather, disease, market conditions, labor, veterinary care, and other factors outside HenBase's control.

11Customers, Vendors, Workers, and Payroll

Users are responsible for having lawful authority to enter information about customers, vendors, workers, and other people.

Users must handle personal and employment information according to applicable laws.

HenBase does not determine:

• Worker classification
• Wages
• Overtime
• Payroll taxes
• Employee benefits
• Deductions
• Leave
• Employment eligibility
• Labor-law compliance

Payroll tools are recordkeeping and calculation tools only.

Users are responsible for verifying payroll and employment information.

12Subscriptions and Paid Features

• HenBase may offer free and paid plans.
• Features, limits, prices, billing periods, and trial conditions will be displayed before purchase.
• Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are managed through the applicable app store account.
• Deleting a HenBase account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
• Users must cancel store subscriptions through the store where the subscription was purchased.
• HenBase may change available plans or features with reasonable notice, subject to applicable platform rules and law.

13Payments and Refunds

• Payments made through Apple or Google are subject to the applicable store's payment and refund policies.
• Refund requests for store purchases may need to be submitted through Apple or Google.
• HenBase does not store full payment-card information unless a future payment provider explicitly supports that function.
• HenBase does not directly process card payments unless that feature exists.

14Data Storage and Synchronization

HenBase may store and synchronize authorized account and farm records using secure cloud database and authentication services.

Some settings, temporary data, or cached information may be stored locally on a user's device.

Synchronization may be delayed by:

• Internet availability
• Device configuration
• Database maintenance
• Service interruptions
• App version
• Authentication status
• Third-party infrastructure

Users should verify important records after synchronization.

15Data Export, Retention, and Account Deletion

Users should save or export important records before requesting account deletion.

Users can request account deletion:

• Inside the HenBase app
• Through the public Account Deletion page
• By contacting HenBase Support

Account deletion may permanently remove accessible account data.

Limited information may be retained when necessary for:

• Legal compliance
• Fraud prevention
• Security
• Dispute resolution
• Financial record obligations
• Enforcement of these terms
• Temporary backup expiration

Deleting an account is not the same as cancelling an app-store subscription.

16Service Availability

HenBase may depend on internet access, device compatibility, databases, authentication, hosting, cloud storage, app stores, and third-party technology providers.

HenBase does not guarantee uninterrupted, immediate, error-free, or permanent access.

Temporary interruptions may result from:

• Maintenance
• Updates
• Security work
• Technical failures
• Internet outages
• App-store restrictions
• Third-party service disruption
• Events outside reasonable control

17Third-Party Services

HenBase may rely on providers for:

• Cloud database services
• Authentication
• File storage
• Email
• App distribution
• Crash reporting
• Analytics if enabled
• Customer support
• Payment processing if enabled

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

HenBase is not responsible for independent third-party products outside HenBase's reasonable control.

HenBase does not list a provider unless that provider is actually used.

18Intellectual Property

• HenBase software, design, branding, logo, source code, documentation, layouts, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
• These terms do not transfer ownership of HenBase intellectual property to users.
• Users receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use HenBase for lawful purposes.
• Users retain responsibility for and ownership rights they may have in information they enter into HenBase.
• Users grant HenBase permission to process their submitted data only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

19User-Submitted Content

Users must have the right to upload records, notes, photos, files, or other content submitted to HenBase.

Users must not upload:

• Illegal content
• Malware
• Material that violates privacy rights
• Material that violates intellectual-property rights
• Unnecessary highly sensitive personal information
• Content belonging to another person without authorization

HenBase may remove harmful or unlawful content where permitted or required.

20Suspension and Termination

HenBase may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary because of:

• Violation of these terms
• Security risk
• Fraud
• Abuse
• Unauthorized access
• Harmful content
• Nonpayment for paid services
• Legal requirement
• Threats to users, infrastructure, or platform integrity

Where appropriate, users may be given an opportunity to correct the issue.

Some provisions of these terms may continue after termination where their nature requires survival.

21Disclaimer of Warranties

HenBase is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law.

HenBase does not warrant that:

• Every feature will always be available
• Every calculation will be error-free
• Every device will be compatible
• Every record will synchronize immediately
• The service will prevent every security incident
• The platform will meet every user's business requirements

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

22Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HenBase and its developers, operators, and support personnel are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Potential losses may include:

• Livestock losses
• Farm losses
• Lost profits
• Lost sales
• Lost data
• Incorrect entries
• Missed reminders
• Payroll errors
• Tax errors
• Disease outbreaks
• Device problems
• Internet failures
• Decisions made using user-entered records

These terms do not attempt to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

23Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, users agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Their unlawful use of HenBase
• Records they enter or upload
• Violation of these terms
• Violation of another person's rights
• Employment, payroll, tax, farm-management, or regulatory decisions made by the user

24Changes to HenBase

HenBase may add, remove, update, limit, or modify features.

Some changes may be necessary for:

• Security
• Legal compliance
• Performance
• Device compatibility
• Database changes
• App-store requirements
• Service improvement

Material changes affecting paid features should be communicated where reasonably possible.

25Changes to These Terms

• HenBase may update these Terms & Conditions as services, laws, technology, or platform requirements change.
• The Last Updated date must be revised when changes are published.
• Material updates may be communicated in the app or website.
• Continued use after the effective date of updated terms may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

26Applicable Law

• These terms are governed by applicable laws based on the user's location and any mandatory legal requirements that apply to HenBase.
• Nothing in these terms limits consumer or statutory rights that cannot legally be waived.
